So one of my cats just gave birth to four kittens yesterday, but a poor little one of them has one leg in addition on his belly. I saw that when he was crawling around his mother, not being able to move properly and I'm also worried that's maybe because of that leg. What advices can you give to me ?

That must have been upsetting. What has happened is that the egg has started to split and not completed, so that some cells have grown twice. If it had finished splitting there would have been identical twins. The kitten may have other abnormalities inside. I would take him to t he vet and get advice.

There might be a posibbility of having other abnormalities inside as the kitten doesn't move as much as the others and usually stays in a corner, barely moving..

Yeah, if it was movable etc, it could be something rather harmless, and the kitten could live an almost normal life. Such happens.  Perhaps having some rather basic amputating surgery. Or even without.

But as you describe it, it doesnt sounds too good.

Is there any way you can take the kitten to a vet? That way it can be put to sleep if needed, and not left to suffer. I'n sure this is very difficult. I'm sorry.

How are mom and the others doing?
