And we were trying to find out the reason why. I live with my boyfriend and his family and they have lots of cats, three females and four males, and the yesterday one of the female cats died.
I was not at home when that happened (I was at work), and the news broke my heart so much, especially because one of the female cats is so close to me and I already miss her being so cuddly and jumping on my lap for attention.
We live in a very remote area in our country, BF tried to looking for a vet in the nearest city but he didn't managed to find any. Now another female cat is showing the same symptoms as the one who died yesterday, and we're stumped on what we could do for her atm.
Btw, all of their cats are outdoor cats, they go home at diff. times of the day to eat and leave again. It is now summer in here, and he was wondering if it is the same "disease" (since we have no idea on what it is) that killed a few of their kittens two years ago (it had summer that time as well).
The first cat (who died yesterday) came home after being out for two days, and BF said she was very thin compared to when they last saw her (this cat was a big eater and is very chubby). He tried feeding her yesterday but it was no use. She won't drink any water either, and BF noticed some blood on her mouth. It seems as if she kept vomiting blood yesterday before she died.
Now we are both hoping it's not something contagious, we don't want the rest of the cats to suffer the same thing.
