Before birth, cat with diarrhea

Tea Bags had an enlarge sphincter muscle and it went down after we fed her pumpkin and Purina Cat chow, mixed. Then, she started one day with a normal bowel. After that her diarrhea is a common thing. What did I do wrong? What can I give her to get her to have solid waste? Will this effect her kittens? thanks, Shelley

If its immediately before waiting delivery, it may be normal. Many queens gets diarrhea one-two days before delivery.

If not, lets try to think. Exactly what sort of pumkin did you gave? the crushed, plain, unsweetened, or this with spice and flavors?

You could always try with some nice probiotic.

What is probiotic? We fed her 1 tbs of regular canned pumpkin per 1/2 cup cat food. No sweetener or spice. Cold from the refrigerator.

How old is she and how pregnant? For a cat with an enlarged sphincter, pregnancy is creating a lot of pressure internally. I'm not sure it will improve while she's pregnant.

Do you plan to spay her when this litter is weaned?

If she is having diarrhea every single day she needs to see a vet for treatment. Daily diarrhea is not normal or healthy.
