It just seems like Friskies has more sales and is bigger (5 oz vs 3 oz) in bulk than the  FF classic 30 pack? but then i see like, cheese..... fish.....gravy.... no. I mean I know I can do better can food but I'm already feeding dry grain free. What's your take?

My cats prefer Friskies but every cat is different. With either brand, it's best to stick to the pates (classics in Fancy Feast). The other varieties have more fillers and carbs than the pates do with all the gravies and such.

Friskies is more affordable too. You can get a 5.5 ounce can for the same price and often cheaper than a 3 ounce can of FF. If you feed a lot of cats, you can get a 13 ounce can of Friskies at Dollar Tree. They often have a few flavors and you can buy them online and have them shipped to the store for free. This is better than Wal Mart's price by .08 cents a can.

Friskies and FF are fine if you stick to the pates. My cats are on a wet food diet and because they are so picky, we keep a pretty wide variety of foods in their rotation so they don't get bored  and the list goes from Friskies up to Weruva and many in between. The best food for your cats is one that they will eat that you can afford. Many people here feed both Friskies and FF. Yes, there are better foods out there but the highest quality, most expensive food out there is worthless if they won't eat it and it ends up in the trash or the garbage disposal. I learned this the hard way. Many times.

I also have spent a lot '$' on prescription food that the cats will not eat . It is more important that they eat and enjoy their life. My kitty's eat Friskies pate with added water and Iams Heathly Natural dry food .
Some cats live over 20 years and others die before 10 . Give them a safe place to live and some love and they will have a happy life .
All the best to you ...

My cats are super picky so it was a challenge to find a wet food they would eat every day . Yes they like FF but it got too darn expensive feeding 4 cans per day so with a little persistence  I finally got them eating Friskies Classic Pate and now they love it . All flavors . They eat it every day .

In the morning they each  get 1/4 cup  kibble .  At night ( 6 pm ) I give each a 5.5 oz can Friskies ( different flavors ) by morning about 3/4 of each can is gone .  It works for us ..

Ps the dollar store sells 13oz friskies pate by the case. I guess the only thing would be storage.

I kind of like the FF Broths gravy "complements" in the pouch. If one of my cats needs a bit of enticement to eat, I mix a little of that into the regular food to make it more tasty. If there's no allergy or other dietary  concerns (as always-- if your cat eats a prescription diet, has allergies or another medical condition, check with your vet before using anything new)... this can help. There are chicken and seafood varieties (maybe beef or turkey, but this is what my store has), and both creamy and gravy/classic textures so there are a few choices. These may be quite high in sodium and they are meant to be used as a "condiment" or "side dish" only. They aren't meant to be a complete meal by themselves. They're a pack of "broth" with some particles of solid ingredients, meat, etc. swimming around. It's meant to be poured over the wet or even dry food like gravy, or used as a "lapping sauce".

My stomatitis cat sometimes has to resort to Hill's a/d, which doesn't thrill him like it does most critters. If I add some of the Broths, he'll eat it quite well. Even Tara the Himmy-- who isn't a fan of canned food in general-- will eat wet if there's Broths on it! Yet she doesn't care for the regular "gravy" or Gravy Lovers varieties! It's like crack juice to them!
Hope this helps!
