Our new foster, Rocket arrived Friday evening.  He was bottle fed but has gone through 3 nipples and doesn't seem satisfied.  This morning I started offering him FF kitten/KMR glop.  How long can I leave it down or should I take it away after he has his fill?  Is there an easy way to track how much of this he is getting?  He tends to eat and play then wants a bottle and cuddle time.

I must brag; he uses the litter box like a champ!  Then steps in it and gets it everywhere.

I finished his KMR and bought Pet Ag to replace it.  The first brand had a sweet vanilla scent to it.  Of course it was introduced at the 2am feeding.  Rocket wouldn't eat any of his FF/krm glop.   At the 6am feeding he at a little off my finger and a little off the plate but then he just went to sleep.  He did have a few burps this morning probably from the 10pm feeding.    should I see if I can find the other brand?  I think it came from GNC, it arrived with him - from the person who found him.  He's gained 2.3 ounces since Friday afternoon.

I would try some Friskie's Pate, Turkey, and thin it down with warm water or formula, For some reason all of my cats like t.he turkey. Now is the time to just get him to eat, no matter what. You might try tuna juice too.

What a precious little guy, he is just too cute for words! Looks a little ornery too, like, who me?!, I bet he is a hand ful!

I've been mixing the KMR w/Fancy Feast Pate.  He doesn't seem to like it with the new KMR.  Is it possible he ate too much yesterday?  He really pigged out at 6 and 10pm.

He is a character.  Loves to jump and is learning to pounce.

Can you ask the rescue for more of the GNC brand that he likes? It's really important that he continues to eat every day. You said he is peeing and pooping well, so he should be hungry. Kittens are usually ravenous! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

The KMR came from the person who found it.  He just had a big poop and some KMR and went to sleep.  Eclipse snarfed down the ff/kmr mush.  I'm off to petsmart to get more KMR (that's where it came from - not the best reviews, o well) and more FF Turkey in case it's the FF whitefish he is objecting to.  He's not crying like he's hungry, he is purring and cuddly when not playing.

I'm so sorry. Words just can't convey how sad I am for you right now. You deserve a full explanation from the vet and I hope you get his records. But you did nothing wrong. (((Hugs)))

I cry for your pain, that sweet, sweet baby, he left you much too soon. It's just not fair when they find someone to love and care for them and then they have to leave, I'm so glad he had you in his short life.  The happiness he shared with you is unmeasureable. He loved you so very much. It doesn't take long for them to dominate our lives and worm their way into our hearts. I'll pray for you both, please accept my sincere condolences. RIP sweet baby Rocket, you will never know how missed you will be, you will be forever held in a loving heart!
