We recently got a 14 week old kitten who had fleas & vet recommended Revolution topical. It's been 30 days & no signs of any more fleas. We also out of precaution put Revolution on our 4 year old indoor only cat. I know it is recommended to dose 3 times 30 days apart, but an wondering if we could just now continue dosing the older cat to spare the little one any more doses. The little one is so small still & wondered if anyone has done something similar with success? Thx.

I would dose them both. Flea eggs can remain in your carpet and hatch for up to a year after being laid! Revolution is great because it protects against fleas, tape worms, and mites. Since your kitten has had only one dose it is possible that by discontinuing it that your cats will end up with fleas (again) and worms.

So as I see by only giving Revolution to your other cat this is like painting a target on the kitten for fleas to use as a host.

Hope that helps.
