Well I now have the six month old kitten at home. Everything is going well except for one thing. Kitten Glop, the lack of it!

Would you believe that in the supermarkets in my town do not sell corn syrup. Either out of stock or mysteriously missing from the shelves.

Here's a challenge for you cooks out there. Is there anything I can use as a substitute?

John,

Kitten glop is a recipe you can make very easily with Karo syrup, egg yolks, goats milk and I can't remember all of the ingredients, but you can find it easily enough doing a board search for Kitten Glop. You give it to orphaned kittens or newly weaned kittens and even lactating moms. You can also give it to the runt of the litter to help supplement what it is lacking from not getting enough mom's milk. Kittens love it and they thrive on it.

Mags try this website
