pu surgery

hi my baby lucky just had pu surgery 4/8/2016 it has been 6 days since his surgery and he is peeing very little my question is if it is normal for cats that have had pu surgery to pee so little after surgery

Did you talk to your Vet about this?  There have been a few cats here (on TCS) who've had this surgery, but I don't know whether what you're experiencing is the norm or not.  Are you giving him wet food with lots of extra water?  I did read in this very long thread where one particular cat was peeing LOTS soon after his surgery, but again, not sure if that's the norm.  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/264960/my-experience-with-blockages-and-pu-surgery
