My cat recently got out luckily we found her and she is fine. She did cut her paw. I took her to the vet and got it looked at . My vet told me to use Yesterdays news for a few days and I did,  well she won't use her box so this morning I switched back to her old litter and she relieved herself poor thing probably held it all night. My question is her regular litter is Arm and Hammer light weight, do you think there is a chance it could get infected ? I just don't know what to do.

Well, if she doesn't go to the bathroom, you could have worse problems on your hands, so just keep an eye on her paw and try to keep it clean if SHE doesn't.

Keep an eye on it to look for any signs of swelling or if she appears to be in pain (or more than she is possibly exhibiting now), then take her in .  Did the Vet give her any antibiotics, or was it not bad enough for that?

She has used her box twice since I put her old litter back in, she did not care for Yesterdays News. So far no swelling. No antibiotics he just told me to keep a eye on it for a few days.
