Should I be worried?

My cat gave birth to 3 healthy kittens today, none of the were still born. The all seem heathy and momma is taking care of them. This is her first litter and I'm not 100% sure if she got all of the placentas out. She hasn't gone to the bathroom after she had them and that was like 4 hours ago. But she seems fine? What should I do?

Is there any specific reason for your concern?

As Krissy Marissy said she may have eaten it before you saw it.  She may not be hungry right away if she ate 3 placentas.  She also has more room for her bladder and may not need to pee right away.

Congratulations on the kittens! I agree that you don't need to be nervous. Do you have birth weights for the babies?

Mom should stay inside and away from intact males until she can be spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old. She can get pregnant again within a week of delivery and without going into heat.

okay she's went to pee, sorry I was just really concerned because my cats never had kittens before. When I found out she was pregnant, I researched it a lot. There was a lot of articles that said stuff about infection from the placentas. But I think she's doing good and every things fine. And No I don't have a birth weight.

She's probably okay. No need to worry. The placentas come out right after the kitten is born, and as mentioned, you may have missed it. Sounds like your new family is doing just fine.

It is very helpful if you can weigh the kittens every day to make sure they are gaining enough.
