I'm not sure if I'm over reacting about this or not but my kitty just got spayed 5 days ago. I took her to the vet yesterday because she had discharge coming from her incision and she was in pain. They gave her an antibiotic shot and put a collar on her but now her incision looks worse then before. It's all red and swollen and still discharging. She can't reach it to lick it and I've had her locked in my bathroom since Sunday night. I just recently moved her to my bedroom so she would have some more room and maybe feel more comfortable. Is this something that gets worse before it gets better??

I am sorry she's having so much trouble and I don't think you're over reacting . If she is still having issues, take her back to the vet. That is what I would do any way, she could be allergic to the stitches if they used dissovable sometimes they can cause irritation.

I called my vet and they said to see if it gets better by tomorrow and if not bring her in again
