I figured it was one of the ways cats say Hello.  I'm not going with the other way.;)
Anyhow!  I go by Tyleete online, and came here looking for answers about cat food.  Seems like a nice place to talk to though and share experiences.
I have (no gasps please) 11 cats.  I used to work at a shelter that 'claims' to be no-kill, but they aren't now anymore than they were when I worked for them.  I was the cat lady there.  On average took care of 52 cats daily, and out of that, anywhere from 10-20 of them were feral, trapped cats.  I took home 2 kittens (1 left behind at an adoption event when her sisters were adopted together, another when a terrible disease was wiping out all the kittens and the mothers), and also another 2.  One of which was a 10yr old, long haired cat that had been treated terribly, and the other several yrs old that while I had tamed and turned into a luv-bug, would hiss at strangers so they were going to kill him.  On top of that, we moved last year and took 3 outside neighborhood cats that've come to depend on us.  One of which had already been living inside as she'd gotten into a terrible fight and was healing after the vet cleaned her up, to decide she preferred it indoors.  Move went fine, but we decided to move back to the East Coast, and took another cat that used to have a name & collar until feeding him about a month at some apartments we lived at for 5mo.  So we took this adorable, sweety in too.  The rest were ones along the way we saw and fell in love with too.  No cattery cats.  Just homeless.  In fact, the injured one had a litter and one of ours is a baby we kept before getting her fixed.  So yeah.  I am a BIG sap when it comes to cats.  They drive me batty!  But if I see a desperate cat in need, I take them home.  My family and I are even allergic to cats, but thanks to regular cleaning and Nasalcrom, we're pretty good.;)
My mother used to run a cattery, so I've plenty of experience in the cat field, but still no expert.  Looking forward to both sharing and learning here.

I am doing litterbox rounds now. Grab what images I can. I'm playing with Noir Star now. He's the one I grabbed living out behind the apartment I rented for 1/2yr. In Winter, it rains near EVERY day, for hours on end in WA. Felt so bad for him, just took him back with us when we moved.

And Midnight. He's the sweet feral I brought in. He had no whiskers, hair had been shaved close including tail, no fang teeth & body covered in old war wounds. He's such a sweetie and very lovable. Dear boy.
Think that's it?
