I need some advice my cat is acting like she's in heat like she rubbing against all of us rubbing up against my dogs and she's doing her really loud meowing and putting her butt in the air and everything, but she's pretty far along in pregnancy. and I've never had a pregnant cat before her nipples are sticking out and very pink. I'm just wondering if she might be having them soon its been three days since shes started this.

Welcome to TCS!

She's getting close.  It's the hormones mimicking heat that is making her act like this.  Look for her to drop i.e. looking slimmer, less kitten movement as they move into the birth canal, losing her mucus plug and her water to break.

Do you have supplies ready in case she needs help?

She looks thinner she doesn't even look pregnant until you feel her. And I have nothing to help her just in case. It's my first time having a cat that's going to have babies

I can try.. And you can def feel them.. They are getting closer to her birth canal. But I'm not sure if I can feel them moving right now I could before. She's hasn't really been letting me touch her like she used too lol

Ok, the essentials are a small scale to weigh the kittens daily, kmr (powdered by PetAg is best), and a needleless syringe in case you need to supplement.

She will need to stay 100% inside and away from intact males until the kittens are 8 weeks old and she can be spayed. Mamas can get pregnant again within a week of delivery and without going into heat.

She is like always inside. She snuck out that one time. She's definitely a indoor cat. And thank you. I really appreciate the help

She should still be spayed. Unspayed cats do have a tendency to sneak out, and she will do it again. In addition, multiple heat cycles can lead to pyometria and reproductive cancers. She'll be happier and healthier. Let us know if we can help you to find a low cost clinic!

Not to ask again and again, but we're %100 sure she's expecting? If so, I think it's just her hormones. They're high right now and it probably causes her to behave in similar ways. Some mommas become very affectionate. How far along do you think she is?

Yeah I'm sure she is. And she's rubbing up against us and my dogs and putting her butt up in the air and doing her meowing then she stops for a little while. The she starts up again.

And I'm not exactly sure how far along maybe we've known for about 3-4 months but we weren't really checking her until one day she jumped up on my lap and I was petting her stomach. She was kinda far along then

Hmm. A cat pregnancy is only 65 days. Are you absolutely sure that she's not just in heat now?

I don't know she was definitely pretty big by too long ago. And she's a tiny cat.

Could you post some photos? It's possible that she had a phantom pregnancy.
