My cat was always very playfull and loves to stay around me and my fiance.

My fiance went on holiday to visit her mom for 4 days, we sometimes skype and I show her the cat and she calls our lovely cat to see his reaction.

Yesterday after we stopped speaking the cat started to act very strange, not to mention prior to our call he was sleeping on my lap while I was watching TV. For some reason he started to meow (diferent that usual) and would "bite" softly but not let go of my feet or hands, it would just stop there and look at me. I thought he wanted attention so I tried to pet it or grab it. The moment I was very close to it, it would meow lighty and get away from my hand. If I were to stop he would bite me softly again but if I were to touch him he'd meow and flee.

I was very very confused as everything was fine before hand and I treat my cat very well.  I was able to calm him down with a snack he loves and wait 30minutes but still it worried me at the current time as he had never reacted that way.

He has yet to act like that since yesterday evening, everything is back to normal.

I wonder what happened.

He may have been confused about where she was. It definitely doesn't sound like any sort of attack.

If he was overstimulated and confused, I'd recommend not interacting with him at all in that state. Just put him down and walk away. Treats could be read as a reward.

If he's not neutered I suppose it could be something hormonal as well.

Yeah he's not neutered.

The strange thing is I have talked with my Fiance 4 times before this happened and today talked with her again.

The cat had no "bad" reaction like yesterday.

I gave him the treat as he was always pushing me towards the place where the treat was and kept looking at it. It had tons of food in his bowl though. Maybe he was just desperate for the treat? we usually give 1 per day as that's what is instructed.

How old is he? You should consider neutering him. Hormonal behavior doesn't necessarily make any sense to us, but he is likely going to get more aggressive the longer you wait.

Just ignore him if he does it again. No treats. Otherwise he's getting what he wants with bad behavior.

He's 7 month old.

He has indeed started to meow more lately, he always wants more sweets but I don't give it to him (yesterday was an exception as he got crazy when I was going to sleep and he didn't let me)

I have already contacted a nearby Vet to see when I can neuter him. SOme places recommend it to be around 6-8 months other 4months so I'm, not sure If its already to late.

Definitely not too late but it's definitely time. You don't want aggressive or territorial behaviors to develop, like spraying. Most vets will do the procedure when kittens are 2 months old or 2 pounds.

It's neevr too late to neuter! Even 10-year-old retired breeding toms still get neutered. But doing it before 6-8 months is best to prevent behavioral problems. I agree that it sounds like he's feeling his oats and that's why he's acting like that. Better have him neutered soon! You don't want any tomcat behaviors to become habit.
