3 week-old siamese kittens : boys or girls ?

1 and 2 are girls and three is a boy.

Is it normal for them to be so bare back there?

Thank you so much ! That confirms what I suspected. For the boy, I was almost sure but not for the girls. They are siamese, so yes, they are quite bare generally speaking...and very bare there

Do you plan to have mom spayed after this litter is weaned?

She's still young. I'll have her spayed before she turns 2 to avoid tumors but she may have other kittens in the mean time. Very good pedegree on her side and on the kittens' dad's side...

She should not have but one litter a year. It's too hard on the cats. Do you sell the kittens?

I agree with you. She turned one...so she still has time. Also, I know I lied a little on the post : I put 3 pix but there are only 2 kittens. I thought the female pix were not very good, so I put 2 different ones on this post. Yes I'm selling them but at cost. We are very close to our siamese. She gave birth in our bed, which is by the way now the kittens little nest. I'm not in for the profit, but she is so adorable and the dad is so nice too, that we want them to reproduce. We have a list of good people who would be great families for the kittens...

You are practicing what is known as "backyard breeding". You don't call it breeding, but planned reproduction is a form of breeding. You sound very conscientious about what you are doing, however. It's important to put the mom cat's health first always.

Agreed with the above. And mom can get pregnant again within a week after delivery, even without going into heat. She will need to be completely supervised when with your male until you are either ready to let her have another litter or one or both of them is fixed. I hope you'll consider spaying her after one more litter at most.

I agree. By the way, I do not have a male: I paid for the mating. A beautiful cinnamon point. With my chocolate tabby point, the mix is interesting.

Question, when you sell the kittens for cost, does that include first vaccines and neutering/spaying? I would be uncomfortable with the idea of anyone less responsible than you breeding babies that came from me.

It includes vaccines + microchip. Not neutering/spaying.  There is strong demand for non-professionally breeded siamese kittens that start their life within a real family (ie not in a cage for instance). The people who will adopt my kittens are very responsible and have had problems with breeders (unhealthy siamese to state the obvious). They will know to spay their female cat before the age of 2 for instance to avoid tumors. This little issue does not seem to bother breeders by the way.
