Question of The Day. Saturday 9th of April.

Good morning.

How do you like to indulge yourself? Is there a favourite food or drink that you have when you deserve a treat? Or is there somewhere you like to go shopping?

When I've been very very good I go to this little massage place I know. They do an amazing foot bath and foot massage deal. They soak your feet in hot water and scented oils first of all, then give you a 20 minute massage. The woman who does it is really good at finding all the right pressure points and getting the tension out of your feet and calves.

I haven't been there for a while, but I started running again recently and now I feel like I could really do with a massage. Got to have happy feet!

   

That sounds like an ideal way to treat yourself @Norachan. I love having my feet pampered - I'm lucky that my fiance enjoys giving foot rubs and I do take advantage of him. A lot!

I also would be inclined to get some kind of massage.  Any type but I do love reflexology the most.

Frozen yogurt is my treat.  There's a shop downtown where I can sit outside with my yogurt and people watch.  

I take and day and browse the junk stores, thrift, Hospice, Salvation Army, and the Dollar Stores.

I really do not indulge myself...I guess you could say that my hairdresser is my indulgence...color, cut, conditioning...all together at once..expensive, but feels so good when it is done...

Also, I do enjoy going out to eat to a restaurant. I do that occasionally, and have a real good meal..I can do it by myself. I just take a magazine and my iPhone with me. It is amazing how nice the waitstaff is when they see someone dining alone. They seem to like to talk and make me feel comfortable...

i don't indulge myself very often. i'd say the closest i get is buying a 6 count package or two of bagels at Aldi's, which i do very rarely. my favorite are the real bagel bakery bagels...

Chocolate--I like Ghiradelli squares or Lindor truffles (dark chocolate varieties only), the individually wrapped pieces help me indulge just a little without getting too much.

Hate to admit it, but every couple of weeks, I have to get a Hot 'n Ready. [emoji]9786[/emoji]️

That sounds really nice. Every now and then I go up to Tokyo and my favourite part of the day is sitting outside a coffee shop and people watching.

You know, I often call many things my "guilty pleasure" but for the life of me can't remember what they are.

I occasionally like to go for fondue at the Melting Pot. Yum yum. I also enjoy my Peach Pleasure from Jamba Juice. I am seriously drinking that thing the entire way home.

When I indulge myself I either get pizza or Chinese food.

Anything chocolate.

I wish I could say that I eat only the best, the most divine chocolate around. Alas, if it's chocolate, I'll eat it, unless it's simply horrid stuff.

I don't really go in for indulgence. I guess for me it's going to a local chocolate and coffee shop and getting a vanilla cappuccino made with almond milk VERY occasionally, I'll let myself have the free handmade chocolate truffle that comes with it!
