Yes, it sounds like she needs her own space. Please don't use the spray bottle. It teaches her to be afraid of you, but won't help with the aggression.

The spray bottle doesn't cause her to fear me in anyway. As soon as I pick up the bottle now, she stops what she's doing and just pitter patters to my lap as if she's saying "see mommy, I can listen. Look how good I'm being!" I haven't needed to use it since I posted this for her terrorizing the other kitties. I only shake the bottle now when she's scratching my furniture and she reacts the same way in that proud prance. Regardless of having multiple scratching posts including a brand new one just for her and her scent, she insists on scratching my grandparents 1960's Velvet green chairs haha. Thank you for your concern though! Luckily, no fear from any of my kitties.. Only constant needy love lol

Well, I'm happy to say that my Mini gave birth to FOUR perfectly healthy, black kittens yesterday! She went into labor at 5:30pm and was done by 8pm. Quick, not so painless and happy. I had to aid her in the last baby with breaking open the sack because I don't think she even realized she had a 4th baby and she was bit overwhelmed. I wiped all their faces down to get them breathing and mama did the rest. I am so proud of her! She has the bathroom to herself with her babes and snuggling away. Here's a photo for starts and I'll have more of their beautiful little faces! Thank you all for your guidance, advice and assistance during this stressful time for me and Mini. We both are so happy to have brought these kittens into the world!

Hello!
So, my infamous Mini's kittens are four weeks old tomorrow and mewing up a storm, running around with less and less wobbles each day, getting their teeth and trying to escape the compounds of the bathroom/box. As I've never had kittens before, I was wondering what kind of care the kittens will be needing at four weeks? They seem to be getting too big to nurse with Momma Mini at the same time and I just want to make sure they're getting all the nutrients they need. Mini seems to be spending more and more time away from the kittens but the kittens aren't meowing or yelping for her I'm hunger or distress. I THINK they're healthy and happy when it comes to feeding but I just want to be sure. Also, since they are teething and teeth are popping through the gums, is that safe for Momma and her nipples? Should I be keeping KMR on hand or available for the kittens? We had to go to the vet last week due to two of the kittens have an eye infection so they're on topical antibiotics and thriving. According to the vet, they're growing a little quicker then normal for their age and healthy as a horse (or cat in this situation). Thank you ahead of time for your advice and feedback![emoji]128571[/emoji]

They are growing up WAY too fast for me![emoji]128555[/emoji] At 4 weeks old tomorrow, their teeth are popping in, they're running around chasing each other and playing, mewing up a storm and happy as can be. I am VERY partial to black cats. They hold a special place in my heart because ever since my dad passed away in 2012, every single cat I've ever come across in need of rescuing has been black so I feel like he's sending me little black cats to save since he was a huge animal lover/advocate. I've been playing around with the idea of opening a black cat sanctuary. After doing a ton of research and chatting with numerous vets, rescues, fosters, animal advocates, they brought to my attention just how discriminated against black cats are, especially in adoption situations and shelters. I'd like to do something about it. I'm trying not to get too attached and having a difficult time finding them proper, loving homes so I'm a bit stressed. Thank you all for your support, advice and feedback. So glad I found this site!

At about 4 -5 weeks they can be introduced to wet food, to help momma out a little bit. I mixed wet kitten food(i know it's not a great brand but fancy feast kitten turkey,my kittens loved it) mixed with formula to form a slush. Any pet store will carry the formula. They are adorable! I love black cats, my stray momma cat had three black kittens, and two tabbys, they were all great fun. Good luck!

Are you going to keep them all? I'd take one, but my kitty would not be happy with me.

No I am not. I may keep one but I already have three adults including Momma Mini. My one female, a blue tabby named Mamasan/Bear already doesn't like Mini so I don't want to introduce a fourth female to her. My big black male Sid doesn't care about anything as long as he has some friends hah. I'd prefer not to keep one so I can continue to give all the love, care and attention my three adults need so I'm searching for GOOD homes still for these little girls.

I was also curious if anyone has some unique black cat names for the four of my little girls! I've started to call them Nymeria (I'm a huge Game Of Thrones fan), Magpie (Maggie for short), Sweet Pea (she loves human affection more then all of them) and Pearl (reminded me of a black pearl with her little white hairs sprinkling her legs like a black pearls pearlescent reflection) but I'm open to new and unique names! They're getting their teeth in and roaming around the sanctuary of their bathroom instead of just the box now and enjoying every single second of it. Totally seeing their individual personalities shine and it's so rewarding. I'm thinking of going into fostering kittens after these guys are gone since my adults take to them easier then other adult cats in need of foster homes. Thanks guys for everything!

**little girl on the right is recovering from a minor eye infection with topical antibiotics, that's why she has a greasy eye but she's happy as ever![emoji]128571[/emoji]**
