Kitten season is upon us and I'd like to remind everyone that we have special rules of conduct for posting in the Pregnant Cats & Kittens forum. They are available here -

[thread="247178"]Pregnant Cats Kittens Forum Code Of Conduct Read Before You Post[/thread]

One of the rules that we have here is to keep your posts arranged in one thread per each pregnant cat you care for

Start the thread by introducing the cat and the situation and then use that same thread for all follow-up questions.

Such questions will surely arise as the pregnancy advances and the birth takes place. It's important that you avoid starting new threads for these questions and updates about the same cat. There are several reasons for that -

1. It's best to have all of the information about the same cat in one place. The background can be very important in understanding new situations and help other members offer helpful advice.

2. Having multiple threads about the same cat can be very confusing. Members who reply in one thread may not be able to keep track of developments shared in a different thread.

3. We're trying to keep the forum de-cluttered so that it's easy to navigate around. With so many pregnant cats and kittens situations shared here, we could easily end up with hundreds of threads unless we stick to the one-thread-per-cat policy.

If you notice a second thread for the same cat please use the flag icon to report this to a moderator
. Mention in the comment field that you think the thread needs to be merged with another one.

Please, help our moderators keep this forum helpful and effective by following this simple rule. Thank you!
