... I have obviously spent far too much time luring my 3 cats into doing things (taking pills, cleaning ears, etc), as I am now baiting people with "treats". :tongue2:
I'm the (newly sole) owner of 3 cats, while dealing with some very serious personal issues. I found this site recently while looking for nutritional help for my cats. The issue is very complicated - they all have different wants/needs/behavior surrounding food - so I'll devote separate threads to that. It seems like a great community in any case and I'm happy to have found it!
Now I suppose I did promise pictures..
Above is Maki, my playful 15 year old, who was actually a feral kitten in Germany. He hated people for years, but eventually grew towards acceptance. He now follows me around - in the photo he is guarding my room and crying until I get up on the bed..
Here's Sir Lancelot (usually known as Lance) sleeping on the couch with me. We adopted him from a shelter when he was a few months old - 17 years ago this month. He loves attention and will often start purring loudly as soon as he gets close to me.
Finally, this little ball of fluff is Mufasa. We just adopted him last July and are pretty unsure of his age (between 6 and 12 years old..). He loves attention and treats, but only when he has decided it is a good time. Most play toys still are uninteresting and/or scary to him. He's still slowly settling in and becoming more friendly.
