Help worried owner

Yep shes Definetly being different from other cats I've heard about. She's getting up eating then going ban to the nest and scraching

She had one kitten already. Will say crazy stressful details later. Second ones on its way. But she has no milk

The milk doesn't always come in until mom is done with delivery. Hope all is ok.

She has just had her third one. Second and third went without a hitch. Just number one was the issue. It was visable for about 40mins but she couldn't push it out. Was feet first. I thought it was dead. Just before it came out she ran out from her box and ran across the room mewibg squirting bloody discharge everywhere. When it came out she had no idea what to do so I stepped in thinking it was probably dead. Luckly all third are alive at present

Wonderful that you helped her. Poor mom was confused! Glad all 3 are okay. Milk will come in. In the meantime, the kittens will get colostrum. If a kitten seems lethargic or crying a lot from hunger, do you have KMR to supplement?

Great that all four are alive and well! In the future, pushing for 40 minutes is the start of what I would consider an emergency. You should start to help by lighting pulling as mom pushes after 30 minutes or so.

Do you plan to get mom spayed when this litter is weaned?

Yes she wilk be spayed. We were told she had been done otherwise this would never of happened. I had tried to pull the kitten out but only his back toes were showing and I didn't wanna grab a toe. By the time I started to call the emergency vet she had ran across the room to me. I hanged up because it wasn't breagib and after I swung it it finally started to breath.

It's ok if some are smaller than others as long as they are all able to latch on to nurse and as long as they are all gaining. If you see them managing to nurse, I would leave them for the next 24 hours. Get a birth weight now and you'll want to see that they all gained 6-10 grams minimum in their first day. If not, supplement.

The smallest kitten weighs 59g. I think I'm gonna have to supplement him now. Just incase. I dont wanna loose any kittens.

Yes! Supplement with 1 mL every hour for now. That is a very low birthweight. Use a syringe, tummy down, head up, one drop at a time in the cheek. Let kitten swallow, breathe and go again.

What are the weights on the others?

The other one is 79g and the rest are between 97g and 105g

I'm supplemneting the two small ones. I'm scared because of how small they r.

They should gain weight with supplementing. How much and how often are you supplementing? Do they also nurse mom?
