Hi from Virginia

Hello everyone! I just found this forum and my 5 cats and I decided to drop in and join the party. Sam and Shadow are brothers and almost 4 years old. Misty is almost 12; Tiger is almost 11; and Blackie is probably 5 or so. Blackie just adopted me a few years ago so I really don't know much about his background.

Obviously I love cats. And love to talk with other people who love cats. Looking forward to talking with all of you.

Wow! What a marvelous way to be welcomed. Everyone is very nice and my cats and I thank you greatly for the warm welcomes. As soon as I figure out how to do the web link thing, I'll put up pics of my babies. In the meantime, I would love to share pics of Sam and Shadow at least. Hello again everyone. Sorry I've been away from the forum for such a time but life does have a way of getting IN the way!

Responding to a question, my five cats include:
Tiger - a male tiger tabby, about 10 years old
Misty - a Tortoise female, about 11 years old (she won't com ein the house but has lived on my deck for over 3 years - doesn't like to share her space)
Sam - liter mate of Shadow - male orange tabby. BIG cat at 19 pounds - 4 years old
Shadow - litter mate of Sam - born completely white with pink ears and blue eyes. Still has those but has lynx marks across face, orange rings around tail, and orange has covered most of his back. - 4 years old
Blackie - completely black male cat who adopted me a few years back. He would come up on the deck to eat Misty's food and I ran him off a couple of times until I realized he had been abused. It took 2 years before he would let me pet him. He comes and goes as he pleases. I'm still trying to get him to the vet but one time I tried I ended up with gashes up one arm. Someday I will succeed.

Sorry to be so long winded. Will be back more often now.
