Hello, I just joined TCS and I joined to share my love of cats, and show my little one off. I got Yuki around 3 years ago from the humane society. She was quite the steal, She's really sweet, and playful. The day I had gone to the humane society I went to get a feline friend since my old cat Crystal had crossed the rainbow bridge. When I got there I was initially going to get one cat, but he was sickly and couldn't be adopted out. The lady came back with this tiny, fluffy, white kitten, I was slightly skeptical at first, because I didn't know if I wanted a kitten. As soon as the lady put her down, Yuki climbed up me and rested on my shoulder purring. I couldn't say no after that. So here we are 3 years later and she's still really loving. She does have problems about staying out of human food, and not going places where she isn't supposed to go, or escape (especially since she's pure white, and there are coyotes around). Yuki is really unique, because when I go through my psychotic attacks, she will come to me and lay on my chest refusing to move, purring of course. My current household we have two other cats, but one is my brothers, and the other is my parents cat. My parents cat named Sylvester is turning 19 this year! He's very old used to be very aggressive too, but now he's a kind old man.
My future plans is to get a business, and animal behavioral degree, and open a no kill cat rescue. There is no cat rescues in my area, and a lot of cats I think get put down in the shelters. I've always loved cats, I had a stuffed cat I took everywhere when I was little named Crystal (hence my old cat's name). I think every cat is special, and I don't discriminate on affection.
