Hey everyone!
I stumbled upon this site because I was looking up information about cat health. I see there's a friendly community here. My cat is about a 3 year old Tuxedo. We named him Buddy. He rescued us. We really needed a companion to help us slow down and realize there are important things in life besides our busy schedules. We rescued him at an apartment complex in Fullerton, CA shortly after Independence Day 2015. His owners moved out and abandoned him and his brother or sister. We couldn't find the other one, (must have gotten spooked by fireworks) Other tenants would feed them, but not take them in. We noticed that they were getting skinnier, and skinnier, and realized they had been abandoned. We don't know how long they were left alone, or who the owners were. They were roaming the apartment complex grounds before we had moved in. Just before we moved out we corralled him and brought him into our apartment, we fed him good food, and loved up on him. He didn't want to go outside after that for a long while. He slept for days. Since then we have moved into a house and he has learned to trust us. We feel the love from him, and we always give him luvins. We are such lucky people to have Buddy in our lives, and wouldn't have it any other way!
