Hello! :) I'm new to this site, but everyone seems pretty helpful and knowledgeable, so I thought I would ask about my kitty's eye and see if anyone has seen anything similar or has any advise.

I have an 11 month old kitten named Yeti. I found him behind my sister's work with severe eye infections when he was three weeks old. I immediately took him to my vet (I work at Petsmart and have a good relationship with our Banfield vet) and she prescribed some eye drops for him. His eyes cleared up after a week or so, but his one eye has remained cloudy since then. I have taken him back to the vet a couple times and she prescribed different eye drops, which were later recalled after a couple weeks. She had mentioned L-Lysine but hasn't mentioned it since. I am not sure if his eye still has an infection or if it's scarred from the original infection. I'm also not sure if he can see out of that eye either :/ I saw an article awhile back about flash photography and blindness, and how the pupil of a blind eye will look a different color than a normal eye, and his do look different with flash.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

Scarring of the eye commonly happens after severe URI's. He can probably still see, maybe a bit cloudy though. I don't know of any remedy to fix it? I think it's a permanent thing.
