She's clearly bonded to you as her primary "human".
When she's not trying to kill me. lol.  When she's had enough pets, she swipes.  I've learned to read her signals well.

Come on mom have those babies!

Does the vet have a guess on how many?

NO KITTENS YET!!

No signs of labor. I watched her poop, it wasn't diarrhea. I never stalked a cat to watch it poop before.

No discharge. I never stalked a cat and took a pic of her who--ha to see if she was wet before, either.

No contractions of "ripples" or anything. I've sat and stared at her  tortie belly trying to decide if that was a movement, or just tmy eyes. (it was my eyes - I need new glasses))

She's still starving. I have no idea of where she is putting the food, but if she asks, I feed,

She's cranky as all hell- no meowing for me at all- doesn't want her belly rubbed AT ALL, in fact, it might cost you  a finger.

UNLESS she wants her head scratched until SHE is done, then she tried to kill you with her evil Tired Momma laser eyes. You have exactly 2 nanosecond to put her down or you will pay. Believe me.  I know. I was too slow once or twice.

She can't be pregnant forever, can she?

When we picked up our last pregnant momma, we thought for sure she'd have those babies within a week. (This wasn't our first rodeo, and felt pretty confident in our estimate, especially in talking with the family this kitty had taken residence up with.). She was HUGE!

Week one went by and she just got bigger...week two the same thing...week THREE and we took her in for a x-ray just to see how many kittens she had (we counted 5, she had 6) and ultrasound to make sure babies had good heart beats (they did). FINALLY at the end of week 3 she gave birth.

No kittens.

I noticed that Naomi isn't fond of having  Wynonna near her, so i'm rearrancing the cattery today to hopefully give them both their own space.

She has NO signs of labor. I hope I just walk in and BOOM- kittens.

It can happen, right? :)

She seemed much better after I gave her some treats.
poor baby.....

If no kittens this week-end, are you planning on contacting the Vet?  She looks so uncomfortable...A huge litter for sure...

I *Think*   I may have seen a few ripples... I hope it wasn't wishful thinking, but  it was on her lower back-  Then she got up and walked.  I'll be checking her again in about  an hour.

But then, she begged for food.  So, i pretty much don't know what to think.

If she doesn't have them by Monday, I'll take her to the Vet.

IS THIS IT?  HAS IT STARTED?

I took a video for the advisors to advise!

Are those ripples contractions? She's as grumpy as ever- doesn't' want pets, put will scarf up treats.  What does this mean? I've been lucky enough to walk in on my other cats in the pushing stage.  I'm making a cup of coffee adn heading back downstairs to sit with her, even tho she ignores me.

If she's pretty relaxed right now it's probably early labor. This stage varies in length, can be quick or take hours. I do think things are beginning, just can't say how quickly they'll move from here.

Looks like contractions to me! Good luck! Hopefully you'll have some kittens in a few hours; I wonder how many she'll have?

Nothing.  I woke to this:

No more "obvious" contractions. If I stare at her tummy, I still see a few ripple contractions.

I may lose my mind.

Wynonna has.

She's taken to TEARING around the room, scratching at the door, scratching at the window, then tearing to the other side of the room.  A few meows.

oh, she ate a  full bowl of wet food and crunched on dry, too this morning.

She may be experiencing pre-labor, but she will have them eventually. It's not good if kittens are premature, so you do not want the vet inducing labor. She's not in distress, so you just need to wait it out.
