Lindsayma , how is your little mommy doing?
She is doing so well! She's a natural. :) so snugly with the kitten. Last night she was a bit odd and kept trying to jump up and sleep with us on the bed but then kitten would start crying, I had to put her down and point to the box so she would go back to kitten. When I left This morning they were both snuggled up sleeping. It's so cute! I

Looks like she is getting ready! Keep some clean rags handy to help with the birthing, and i would suggest watching some videos on YouTube of cat births, so you know what it looks like and how you can help clean the kittens when they come. Also, when it happens keep track of the placentas: there should be the same amount as the kittens, the placenta is the part that the momma cat eats of the kitten for nutrients.

I think it might be tonight. she hasnt eaten all day. she has been in her cleaning mood..lol... andddd.. when she is laying on her side, the bump is gone,, I am guessing because the kittens are in  position ..Phyllis , the lady that we take care of now.. has miss kitty on her bed,, I am a bit on edge.. she also has her male cat in the room with them...

they seem to be. I havent weighed them yet.. It appears her milk hasn't come down yet but I am hopeful.

Their nursing on her helps it come in. They are probably getting colostrum now. They look content! [emoji]128571[/emoji]

You can give her wet food too. Make sure her food and water bowls are right next to the nest so she doesn't have to leave her kittens. And her litter box! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Miss Kitty update.. mom and babies are doing great. I just fed miss kitty some wet food. She gobbled it down so I gave her a tad more. She rubbed against my leg so she is comfortable with us in there,, We dont stay but a minute or 2. Then she went into box and started feeding her babies. One was having a hard time finding it so I was able to help him/her out.. they all have been quiet today so I think they are staying full..The one that had to help, I think may be the runt. but they have round tum tums.

I wouldnt call this a problem really, but when will the milk come down?.. the kitties seems to have a hard time finding the tits, miss kitty's hair is so long, and the tits arent very big yet.  I will give another update in the morning.

You can try to carefully trim the hair around the nipples.  The moms milk should be in and she will produce more as the kittens eat more.  Just like breastfeeding women.
