My cat Roxy got out a little over two months ago and didn't come back for 4 days. When she finally came home, 2 males were following her. As I had planned to take her in to the vet to get fixed after she was done being in heat, my plan got interrupted. This is her first pregnancy, and my first cat ever to not be spayed yet. I would say she is now at 62 days ish. She is huge and has the pregnancy wobble.. So now I am trying to figure out when to expect the kittens. On the 15 we started seeing the kittens move around, just today I noticed she had clear liquid coming out of her nipples, as well as a kind of white powder on her nipples that make them look dry. The kittens have seemed to move lower in her belly.. And today she decided to make me come with her to her nesting spot and would not stay in it unless I sat there and pet her. She slept a little then got up and looked for a new place to sleep. Does this seem to be the behaviour of cat getting ready for labour? Also we have noticed her having to clean herself lots.. Not sure if there has been any clear liquid as the dog likes to clean her up since she got too fat to do it herself..
Any opinions on when Roxy could be due? And if it could be coming sooner then I think?

Roxy is absolutely beautiful. I am curious to see what colors the kits will be. I don't know much about preggo kitties but I know women get restless when its close..I wonder if her moving around and licking down there are indicative of kittens soon?

She sure knows she is a pretty girl. Been getting spoiled rotten for the past 2 months. I've been obsessed with trying to figure out when she will finally have them and how many she will have.. Pictures will be posted as soon as they are here.. So excited :)

It sounds like she'll deliver in the next couple of days. The crust you're seeing on her nipples is milk.

Do you have nest options set up for her? And kitten supplies, like a scale, kmr, and a needleless syringe?

And know that she will probably go into heat again before she can be spayed. It's obviously important to keep her in until she and the babies can be spayed when they are 8 weeks old.

Please use this thread to ask any questions! She's beautiful.

I've set up about 4 different nests in the house just to be sure as she has LOTS of places she could hide however she seems to have chosen the one in my closet. I do have the scale as well as syringe, just need to go get the milk today. I'm very anxious for her to have them.. Spent the night up with her because she made me follow her to her nesting spot and would get upset whenever I moved away! Mama ain't going back out until she is spayed that's for sure. Hopefully it's coming really soon, so anxious to see how many kittens she will have and what they will look like!

Oh and I also wanted to know, for the litter box.. Some have told me to leave it as is .. Some say to use shredded news paper until she gives birth.. What is your opinions on this? It is her first pregnancy, she could possibly think about having the kittens in the litter box?

I wouldn't worry about the litter box  Some cats do deliver in them but it's not that common.  She is getting close and will probably want you with her when she gives birth.  Limit your liquids because cats in labor have followed their human to the bathroom and back.

It's cute that she lets the dog clean her.  don't be surprised if she starts swatting and hissing at him.  The moms get protective of their unborn kittens near the end.

Do you think that she might go into labour in the next day or two? Roxy loves the dog, she has been practising baby cleaning on him.. Pretty cute to see. She does let him know when she wants him away tho. I was just curious with the litter if she gives birth in it.. The litter would stick to the kittens?

Yes it it's clumping litter.  You can always switch to non- clumping litter.  You will need that for the kittens when they begin using the litter box.

I would say sometime this week you will see kittens. Some get the milk early, some not until right before birth. Poor thing looks like she is ready to get those babies out of there. The end is near now. Best wishes for a safe delivery!

At this point I feel clueless. Roxy is due anytime now but isn't showing any different behaviour. She still eats a lot and isn't vocal or anything. Today she is acting a little weird but I have no clue if this is a sign of her getting ready. She isn't laying still for long and sometimes jumps up to look at her lady parts. She seems to have been moist all morning. Keeps trying to clean herself up. I do the litter atleast 2 times a day now and today she seems to have a very soft stool and there seemed to be like water drops all over her litter box. Right now she is in her nest and purring lots. Anytime I pet her she opens her legs.. Think this is anything or am I just wishing it happens today?

I would say it'll happen very soon. The soft stool would mean the kittens repositioning for birth
