Has anyone noticed that their cats don't like it as much as they used to? I wonder if the recipe changed!

I've been feeding less Nutro lately because one of our cats had gotten more of a tendency to scarf and barf it... but I'd been noticing that all three kinds of NNC food that we buy had gotten very inconsistent. Minced chicken and sliced turkey sometimes had lots more or lots less gravy, and the chunky chicken was also sometimes more or less moist.

The cats still love NNC but between Edwina's regurgitation, NNC's inconsistency, and that alien piece of something that @mrsgreenjeens found in her cats' food, I'm more than happy to have cut back on it so it's an occasional treat rather than an everyday food.

I've found that if i feed any one food too much, my cats lose interest. Now I try not to repeat feeding anything for a week or so.

Me too, maybe it's spring, they always eat less in warm weather, even as inside cats.

Weird.  Chunky chicken has always been my Lokhis absolute favorite but lately he's been leaving half in his dish.   He will finish it a bit later but yeah, its not being gulped down as usual.   I figured maybe he's grown tired of it.    I do feed it often.

How do some of you not repeat feeding anything for a week?  How many different foods do you have in your rotation?
