I just posted about the feral I take care of who is being bullied by another cat.  I forgot to also mention that I think my feral has ringworm.  Pretty dang sure.  How can I treat her w/o taking her to the vet?  She lets me pet her (a lot!), including her head and ears so I could easily put a topical medicine on her, but is there anything I can get that's over the counter?  I really don't think she'd tolerate going to the vet.  Thanks!

There is a recent very long  thread on ringworm that has a lot of good information in it:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/210789/6-things-i-learned-from-our-ringworm-plague-book-length    The first post starts right off with many ideas.   You might go through the thread and look for over- the-counter suggestions.  Unfortunately, I think you are probably going to have to deal with a vet at some point, if only to get the spot(s) cultured.  If there is a mobile vet nearby, that might be one solution.  Another is to see if you can take the swab yourself and get it to the vet to be cultured.

The one treatment that seems to help the most is the us of a lime sulfur dip.  If your feral would tolerate being dipped, this might be the way to start.
