See if your vet will let you pay monthly installments. Mine is very good about that. Please let us know how she is today. Prayers for you, mom, and babies!

She's in emergency surgery, I'm heartbroken!! When I rescued her it wasn't known of her pelvic injury that is the reason she was unable to pass the kittens. Because of the bad advice from a vet it's possible she's now toxic. It's a very sad waiting game for my baby but the vet is doing everything in their power to save her. She WILL be spayed during the procedure. She needs all the prayers she can get please. I should know something in a couple of hours but she won't be coming home tonight unfortunately. Pray for a safe return home and speedy recovery as well. Thank you everyone for your support.

Dr finished her surgery. She came through well and has had a kitty hysterectomy. He says he's cautiously optimistic but we are on the right side for recovery. He'll know more after she wakes up. I have to call back in 4 hrs after she's awake fully and see how her progress is. She's on iv fluids and broad spectrum antibiotics. Still not out of the woods yet but we are feeling hopeful. Have to be at the vet to see her and talk to the Dr at about 5.

I'm sorry to hear that. If she is moping when you get her home and she has milk, she can foster orphan kittens.

Glad she pulled through! It would have been tough for her to nurse after surgery. Poor wee soul.

This is chewy. She's looking so much better than this morning. Her kidneys are working fine. Still working on flushing the toxins out of her system. Still need prayers, she isn't out of the woods yet. If she eats in the morning and continues to do good then maybe she can come home tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the prayers.

She's very happy to be home. She hasn't left my side at all. She has never slept in the bed with me at night. During the early morning she may would lay with me for an hour. Last night she cuddled next to me all night! I love her so much it's unreal.

She is looking to you for comfort. She had major surgery and is probably sore. It takes awhile to recover. It's good she's eating. Did they send you home with any pain meds for her?
