I'm not sure where to put this but I have a friend that has found a mother cat and three kittens and is looking for someone to take them since her complex won't allow her to keep them. She lives in Chicago Ill area and would really appreciate someone helping them because she looked into shelters in the surrounding area and some said they were full and others said that the cats would most likely be "put down" since they are strays.
Please if you know of someone that can help, either e-mail me at [email protected] or answer here.
Thank you very much!

I promise I'll tell you how it works out. I haven't heard anything from her yet so I will let you know as soon as I know.

me too. I talked to her sister today and she said that she hadn't gotten into her emails yet and will do so when she comes back from Minnesota. I guess from what she said, one of her sisters friends is the one with the problem. As far as I know, this friend is keeping the kittens inside( landlord doesn't know) because she was worried about them getting hit by a car. She also told me that there were 2 females and one male so I guess they are strays and not feral. her sister also said that they were (she thought) about 6 weeks old, or rather to put it correctly, they are old enough to eat solid food but she isn't to sure of the ages. I am hoping that one of Hissys references will pan out for her. that's all I know. Will keep you updated when I hear more.
