I have a cat that when we first got her had a bacterial infection.  We took her to the vet who took Xrays and did tests and gave her shots.  She has thrown up ever since then.  I have tried foods for sensitive stomachs and other foods without grains.  She is fairly thin, and nothing has seemed to improve the situation.  I think she is a nervous cat and as a result has difficulty keeping food down.  I feed her some wet food and some dry food. She does not like treats,  Nothing that would put weight on.  We have other cats and for the most part she gets along with them.  She heaved when we had her alone, with a kitten - another stray, and several cats.

Have you tried cutting out different proteins? It could still be a food allergy, even if it's not grains.
