I am so sorry and hope she gets better soon. How is she today? Nights seem like the worst time for ones with pneumonia, but they can restore a person, too.

Oh, no. That's awful news. Dear God, please help Carol heal her lungs and keep Autumn safe. Prayers for her family too. [emoji]128591[/emoji][emoji]128591[/emoji][emoji]128591[/emoji][emoji]128591[/emoji]
I agree. Sending lots of prayers for her healing.

Thank you everyone. I haven't heard anything from Carol's sister. As soon as I hear from her, I'll post something.

Thank you!

Only yesterday I told somebody that Russia has been missing for some time.
I'm thinking of her and hoping that she recovers.

Thank you, all of you. I'm not really handling this very well myself. Carol and I have had history that go back, probably to the late 1990s, I'm thinking. We met from a cat board (on Cat Fancy back then), she's come here, and I've gone to Jersey to her place. We've had our ups and downs and we may not agree on a lot of things, but we've managed to stay friends. She makes me spastic and I make her crazy. And I think the world of her.

Thank you, everybody. There has been no change in Carol.
@Winchester....Pam, I want to send out prayers for Carol, as 'misterwhiskers' has said above.

Also include you in these prayers, because often times, I don't really think about how difficult it is for the really close friends that a person has,...it's mainly the family that comes to mind.

Some friends are kind of like family, or more supportive than family.  With the 'ups and downs'...and 'making each other spastic and crazy' and still managing to stay friends...It shows how strongly you think of Carol. So my prayers are with Carol, for Healing and Strength, and you're there, too, for strength.

I talked to Carol's sister. They are removing her from life support early this coming week, but I don't know what day; I don't think they know either. At that point, whatever happens will happen. Carol didn't want to live like this and they don't want to prolong anything. The doctor has said that, even if Carol does pull through, she will have to go into a nursing home; there is no way she can ever go home again. She is simply in such bad shape she can't live alone anymore. They've already started to clean out her mobile home.

At this point, my thoughts go to Autumn, so that she can get a great new home.....the neighbor does not want to take her in and none of Carol's relatives are cat-people. Her sister is 88 years old and she's not interested in taking care of Autumn. We have enough issues here with Molli and Muffin; Rick is adamant about not bringing her in. I asked Carol's sister about posting something on TCS about Autumn to see if anybody here might be interested in a good little kitty, but the neighbor is working on trying to find Autumn a home and Teresa would rather wait and see what happens there. Meanwhile, poor Autumn is still alone in the house. I feel so bad for her.

That is all I know at this point. Thank you for keeping Carol and Autumn in your thoughts and prayers.
