I recently moved my cat to Hawaii. She has developed bumps all over her neck, chest and back. I was told it was food allergies but whatever I feed her, they just keep getting worse. She is an indoor cat and no interaction with other animals I had her on turkey wet food then switched her to seafood and they are ten times worse. The vet said it "could" be environmental allergies... but wasn't sure. I need to do something for her soon.,.She is a miserable little mess itching all the time and loosing fur! Any suggestions??? PLEASE HELP

Was she on the same food before and after you move (I know you have since tried new foods)?

What brands of food have you tried?

Has your vet given her any medication to help with the itchiness?

Yes, she is on the same foods now as before we moved to Hawaii. The vet gave me some Benadryl type of spray to put on her and it cleared it up on those spots but came right back after I stopped the spray.  I DID however find ONE flea this morning on her. She has never had fleas before. SO I am thinking it could be an allergic reaction to the fleas. I just bought some Advantage 2 for her!

Some kitties are very allergic to fleas.  A friend of mine had an indoor/outdoor kitty that was very sensitive.  If she would be a little late with flea preventative her kitty would get little bald patches because of being so sensitive to fleas.
