Glad you are home! If you feel like sharing, may I ask why you were in the hospital? (If not, I totally understand).

Hope you get to feeling better, I know you have a 6 yr old son to keep up with, if that's possible lol :)
My 6 yr old certainly keeps me on my toes :D

:vibes: :vibes: :vibes: for a speedy recovery!

I don't mind your asking.
I had a ruptured cluster of ovarian cysts that got very infected. They also noticed my appendix looked suspicious so they also removed it.
I've never had surgery before and this is rough. But I'm on my way to mending.

Ouch!  I had this exact same surgery - removal of infected ovarian cysts and inflamed appendix.  You have all my sympathy!
    Vibes for a quick recovery!

Please take it easy. I never had this done but I did have a partial hyst and yep its a rough two weeks after. Also when sitting up-roll to your side and push up with your hand rather than using stomach muscles. I used a kitchen chair in front of bed/sofa to hold onto for sit/getting up. And remember no lifting until they clear you! GET better!! and glad the kitties will be helping you heal. PURRRSSSSS from the kitties are the best thing in the world :)

How long was your recovery? Was it very painful?
So far I'm managing with ibuprofen, I hate heavy duty painkillers.

It was so long ago that I don't remember the details very well.  I remember the fatigue more than the pain - it took a long time to build up my strength again.  It definitely wasn't as painful as recovering from back surgery was a few years later.   That's great you're managing with ibuprofen.  I don't remember being prescribed pain killers but am sure that I took them if they were there.  (Which might be why I don't remember!
