Just last night Charlie was fine, running up and down the house chasing his ball perusal. Even this morning he was acting normal and ate his food. It wasn't until his second feeding that I noticed he didn't come running for food. He's always the first one to come for feeding time. From then I realized that all he wanted to do was just lay down and hide away from me every time I get too close. I got him to eat a teeny tiny bit but it wasn't much. He has also been gagging and did regurgitate a clear liquid that was a bit slimey, about the size of a nickel. Should I make an appointment for him or give it a day or two? I hate seeming him just hide away, it's not normal for him. He usually loves sleeping on his cat tree or on the couch.

Get him to the vet ASAP. I don't like the sound of those symptoms, or the sudden onset. He may have something stuck somewhere. I hope he's ok :vibes:

If he were getting up a hairball it would be different, but when the gagging is unproductive and you add in the hiding, it starts to sound serious.  Call the vet, and say it's an emergency.  He needs to get in immediately.

Thank you everyone. I just wanted to give you all an update. I took him to the vet that Friday and they gave him some medicine. My poor baby was constipated and really backed up. I'm so glad it was nothing more serious. So he's back to normal, being crazy and chasing his ball up and down the house :)
