Is anyone else watching the game?!? Janet's boob just flopped out...LMAO! (Justin ripped her cover off)That was horribly tacky for a halftime show....what do you think about the game so far? Now...they are saying someone just ran out on the field naked...gosh...what people do to get attention!
Was that really intentional? I mean, she had something silver on top of her areola. I think it was inappropriate because of kids that could be watching.
I agree with the attention thing. Whats next?

I missed it because my back was turned....

Wasn't it an accident???

I called my best friend and she said it was a star. It really made Houston look trashy. I personally hated it! Zack and I are thinking about driving down to the stadium overselves to really see what it looks like right now. It should only take 20 minutes....but we might get in the traffic once the game is over...

Aha! So this is what I'm missing by not watching the superbowl? Still doesn't make me want to watch. I'm just not a superbowl person. Only because I don't understand the game.

Oh well..... I'm sure I'll read all about it in the Star, The Enquirer, People Magazine and every other tabloid around....

The life of a celebrity, they can never have enough publicity and they're always trying to figure out how to stay in the spotlight.

Guess for this year, Janet figured out how.

It could have been worse, it could have been Michael showing up-

sorry couldn't resist. I saw it and it looked contrived and tacky
post #8 of 81
I like Janet's music but, I dunno why she did this.... I guess she wanted some attention from the crowd.
I can not stand any of that family.

Speaking of Michael..... (*wonders what he'd have done had he been there*. Eeeep! )

Maybe this is her way of getting some of the spotlight for a while? I mean, Michael has been hogging it all lately, which is a little selfish on his part. hehehe A sister has to do what she has to do in order to get the media's (and the crowd's) attention once again.

I diden't see that part,im sure it was an accident
post #23 of 81
geez, I just got a spam email headed 'justin strips janet @ superbowl' offering a video lol.

I'm pretty sure that was planned. I don't recall the exact lyrics but right at that point, the words were abt getting naked or something to that effect. Not to mention that you usually don't wear a leather bra with removable cups if you are determined to stay covered lol

All & all, the whole show was a touch on the tacky side. I was puzzled as to who their target audience was. I still recall U2's show in 2002 which inluded their tribute to the people killed on 9-11. Even wearing t-shirts, they were far more dignified.

When you think about the moving and classy opening, I was just left sitting there scratching my head wondering "What happened?"
well Janet achieved her goal. It's all anybody is talking about. love it or hate it, it's all about her right now. Everyone is buzzing about what happened. That's the kind of publicity you can't buy.

She's got a new single, album and tour coming. (shocker, huh?)

Some of the tabloid news sites now have explicit pictures....
(hint: begins with a "Drud" and ends with a "eport.com"

From the looks of her (ahem) adornment, it looks quite intentional....

NEW YORK (AP) -- CBS apologized on Sunday for an unexpectedly R-rated end to its Super Bowl halftime show, when singer Justin Timberlake tore off part of Janet Jackson's top, exposing her breast.

"CBS deeply regrets the incident," spokeswoman LeslieAnne Wade said after the network received several calls about the show.

The two singers were performing a flirtatious duet to end the halftime show, and at the song's finish, Timberlake reached across Jackson's leather gladiator outfit and pulled off the covering to her right breast.

The network quickly cut away from the shot, and did not mention the incident on the air.

Timberlake said he did not intend to expose Jackson's breast.

"I am sorry that anyone was offended by the wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance of the Super Bowl," Timberlake said in a statement. "It was not intentional and is regrettable."

Wade said CBS officials attended rehearsals of the halftime show all week, "and there was no indication any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS' broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended."

The Super Bowl halftime show, which also featured P. Diddy, Nelly and Kid Rock, was produced by MTV, CBS' corporate cousin in Viacom.

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced halftime show," Joe Browne, NFL executive vice president, said. "They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the content of the show.

"It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."

MTV issued a contrite statement, saying the incident was "unrehearsed, unplanned, completely unintentional."

I don't buy that it was unintentional - I mean, why else would you cover the nipple with that silver thing?

I was watching, but missed the shirt ripping. Wasn't that into Janet and Justin. I doubt it was an accident.

The game was really boring for the first half, thank goodness it got better by the end.

Lucia, I remember the U2 halftime show, too, they're my favorite band, and they were much better!

upon closer inspection of the close up of her *ahem* you can see snap button things.
