Last night, we were sitting on the couch, playing on our iPads and watching the news. BooBoo was curled up next to Rick and Jackie was curled up next to BooBoo and me. And the conversation went something like this:

Rick: Dear, you know, I'm going away next weekend to bowl.

Pam: Yeeesssss?

Rick: Well, when I go away, I always take cookies.

Pam: Dear, I made some macadamia nut cookies and some sugar cookies; they're in the freezer.

Rick: I know and I appreciate them. But......

Pam:
 But you want snickerdoodles.

Rick: Well, yeah. I haven't had any since Christmas.

Pam: OK. I'll make some snickerdoodles for you to take with you.

Rick: I love you.

Pam: I love you, too.

Men! Some day, that man is going to turn into one big snickerdoodle!

They are pretty great cookies. Have you tried the Vietnamese cinnamon from KAF? That takes them to a new level. It's incredibly aromatic. When I opened mine, I pulled the seal off the jar and a little bit puffed out of the jar and onto my shirt. I smelled amazing the rest of the night.
The stuff in the grocery store wants to be this when it grows up.

Make several batches of  snickerdoodle cookies.  Put some of them in a cookie jar for now, and put the rest in the freezer along with your other cookies.  The next time Rick gets a sweet tooth or goes away for another bowling trip, you'll be ready for him.
