from Jamie to something like Boomer or Hulk. He has never been light-footed, e.g., he sounds like a German Shepherd, or something even bigger, when he stomps down the steps. Today he jumped off my computer table onto my desk chair, there was the sound of splintering wood, and lo and behold, a third of the seat broke off. He's big, and weighs 13.5 lbs., but this is ridiculous! There's no "pussyfooting" with this cat.

Well, since Planeta is lame on one leg, she always seems to be jumping more than walking, so I sometimes call her "pequeño terremoto" (small earthquake). But I now know that I was using the name too lightly.

Sometimes Leo gets into these crazy spurts when he just runs around the house for no obvious reason and top speed. I just call him Seabiscut when he gets like that!
