Idacats 2016 is just wrapping up. The girls are exhausted but I'm proud of how well they did. HHP had some unusually fierce competition this year, and a ton of gorgeous cats, including 2 beautiful non-standard purebreds, a Devon Rex and a Japanese Bobtail.
Maya (3yr old longhair tuxedo) came home with no ribbons for the first time ever. A little disappointed about that, and really surprised because I thought she did well. She was the only tuxedo and one of the only longhairs, and she was really comfortable and friendly in her rounds. I think not playing got her docked.
It was the first show for Aria (7 month old tortie lynx point longhair) and Calypso (6 month old tortie and white shorthair) and they were definitely a little nervous but warmed up to it. Caly got cranky in her last 2 rounds but she was exhausted.
Overall Calypso ended up with 1 8th place ribbon and Aria with 2 9th places.
