With feeding canned food to up to 4 cats, I've found that the only way to save money on cat food is to buy it when I don't need it.

Friskies pates were on sale for $0.70 per 13 oz can. Meijer's had a digital store coupon for 5% off of groceries so I tacked that on top. Then I found a reward on Mperks that would give me a $10 coupon for a future purchase after purchasing $60 worth of Purina products.

So cumulatively (including $10 coupon off next purchase) my 96 large cans of Friskies that I purchased this week ended up being $0.62 each, INCLUDING sales tax. Deal hunting sure pays off!

Is there a 'Family Dollar' store in your area?  The usual price for Friskies cans there is 55 cents for the 5.5 oz can and 90 cents for the 13.5 oz can.  The choice of flavors can be somewhat limited.

Oh, I re-read and saw that you purchased the larger cans at a great discount.  Nice going.

Lol, yeah they were the 13 oz cans. Normal prices at my store are $1.10 per 13 oz can and $0.49 per 5.5 oz can.

I now have around 160 large cans of Friskies pates in my house. So I can feed fosters for awhile even if there's no good sales or coupons for awhile.
