Teekie is my kitten who was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. With her insides hurting so badly for all her life, she wasn't particularly sociable all the time I've had her. Suddenly, just the last couple of days, she's started coming over for pets and loves and cuddles.  She even purrs!  We're still working picking her up, but she's doing SO much better.  She's still so tiny though!  She's somewhere between 9 and 12 months old now, but she weighs MAYBE 5 pounds and she's half the size of all my other cats.  I guess not being able to absorb nutrients from her food stunted her.

Aw, Teekie is adorable!  [emoji]128153[/emoji][emoji]128154[/emoji][emoji]128156[/emoji]    It looks like she just has a stub for a tail?  It's cute as can be.
  She obviously loves you, curled up in your lap like that.  I'm so glad she's feeling better.  I noticed you had posted elsewhere about her Celiac Disease - do you think she's feeling better because you've found better food?  Perhaps you could update that thread http://www.thecatsite.com/t/315925/a-few-questions-to-help-with-cat-with-celiac to let everyone know what's helping since there are probably people elsewhere in the same boat who would really like to know the secret to your success.  Anyway, I just love your little girl.  She has such a sweet face!

Awe she's beautiful! One of my all time favorite fosters was a bob tail kitten who had spina bifida, she was the sweetest and most caring baby I've ever encountered.

@Margd   Yup! She has a tiny little kinked tail.  I was going to wait a week from my last post before updating that thread. But, Miss Teekiebeans is doing SO much better. She's running around like a mad thing, playing with toys, demanding pettings, and enjoying the pets so much she doesn't even know what to do with herself. And she's already getting better about being picked up!  I'm certain that it's from making a conscious effort to eliminate gluten from her environment.

@haleyds and @Dennis47   Thanks!

I hadn't realized that Teekie never did the sprawl and stretch and roll on the ground thing that all the other cats do, until I caught her doing it!  It must be so nice for her, being able to have things touch her sides without causing her pain now.

She's looking rather scandalized that I pointed and clicked my phone at her.
