Me and my Fiancé had a very pregnant Himalayan cat end up at our porch about a week ago. I could feel the kittens moving and about Monday I began being able to see the kittens moving inside her. Also on Monday she had some clearish mucus discharge which I'm fairly sure is her mucus plug. We have had three other cats in the last year or so that we have taken in as strays who were pregnant so I have experienced this before although with the other ones they were not as far along as she is (we named her Lucy) and we were able to predict when they would deliver. I had guessed when she came to us that she would likely deliver in that week about but were going on the second week shes been with us and she is showing no signs of labor. shes still eating regularly, we have a nesting box set up that she sleeps it but other than that shes often not around it. She does stay in one room though, which she chooses as even with the door open she has no interest in leaving. We have a three month old kitten who she is very friendly with. When he comes around she grooms him and takes very good care of him (Charlie) so I can already tell she will be a great mother. She is fairly large and I guessed around 5-7 kittens. Her milk has come in as our kitten tries to nuzzle into her (dont worry he has not fed off her, hes just a very big suck). All the signs show that she should deliver really soon but she is not showing any outward signs herself. I can post a picture of her if requested. She is very friendly so I feel she had a family but got out and got knocked up. Any guesses as to when she will give birth?

It does sound like she's close; I would guess within the week. Pictures are always helpful!

When kitten movement is finally noticeable, and you can feel it, the mama cat will deliver in 2-3 weeks time. Look for other signs like nesting, any milk production, loss of appetite etc. Those are the biggest indicators that labour is imminent.

Thank you for taking her in! I'm sure she's glad to have you. [emoji]128570[/emoji]
