If she is bleeding you need to see the vet. They need to check her and do an ultrasound to see what's going on. It is not normal for a pregnant cat to bleed. She may need emergency surgery as the bleeding may be dangerous to her health. Either way you should not take chances and get her to the vet immediately! How much blood is there?

If the vet has confirmed that there are dead kittens, she needs medical intervention now. She is at risk of serious infection. What did the vet recommend?

Bleeding for that length of time is not a good sign. Sadly, the moment a kitten dies inside the uterus, the risk of infection is great. If it happens very early in pregnancy then sometimes the foetus will be re-absorbed, but later there is a real chance of infection leading to blood poisoning. Usually, the vet will recommend removing all the kittens and a spay. This is sad, but one of the risks of pregnancy, and a medical emergency. Do what your vet suggests or you could risk losing your girl, and I am sure that her life is more important to you than waiting to see if any kiitens survive.

The only safe course, with the permanent bleeding and some kittens whom already seems dead, is to make a spaying now.  So if your vet recommends this, please do so.  He may perhaps also try with an expelling injection, if its very important to you to try again, perhaps next year.

But because you ask the question - yes, its theoretically possible she may manage with the trick to carry the still alive kittens to the happy delivery.   and abort the dead ones earlier.  OR at the same time as the alive ones...  I know vets sometimes find a calciferated dead kitten inside when they spay, so apparently, having a dead kitten inside isnt always a death sentence for mom.

But as you surely understand - this is highly risky.  Only for someone whom dont have no access to any vet its worth a desperate try.

No bookmaker would give you any odds on a lucky outcome - its too risky a bet, they must live them too, the bookmakers, no?

Is there an update on your cat? We are very concerned. Please let us know something when you can. Hoping she is okay!

Cat who have many litters and cats who go into heat without getting pregnant are at a higher risk for cancer, infections . . .  Spaying her may be best if there are not good vets nearby.

If the bleeding has stopped, its of course good.  And if she seems OK and is playing etc, so it seems the worst crisis is over...   The oncoming Easter is called for Passover  in american english, no?

To remind about the Angel of Death who did passed over the Jewish homes, just sending a chilling wind but without harming anybody in there...

Now you had experienced this too.

Although my recommendation is still to spay her, even if she theoretically perhaps can deliver, with mumified kittens and all.

Or ARE there living kittens inside still??   If so, I understand if you want to try and hope for a happy delivery.   Its no safe bet, but less desperate now than two days ago.

I don't have any good advice because I'm not sure what I'd do in your situation. I really hope that she doesn't get sick and will be okay. I would probably have her checked again and keep a very close eye on her. Good luck!
