Does anyone have experience with this dry food?  My husband and I feed our cat dry food in the mornings, and wet food in the evenings.  Our cat is currently on a prescription diet (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie), but we want to switch to something else.

I'd really appreciate any input!  If there are better alternatives, I would love to hear about them as well!

Thanks!!  I guess I will have to try it and report back.  I did read some reviews saying that cats refuse to eat this food for some reason?  But I'm hoping that since my cat will eat just about anything, it won't be a problem :)

I have not used that specific formula of Wellness Core.  I do use Wellness Core Grain Free Original and my cats love it.  I switched them to Wellness Core after the Evo I had been feeding them for years was sold to a different company and the quality of the food went down.  The old food would constantly crumble almost immediately after I put it in their bowl.  My 4 cats were eating around the crumbs and I was left with a large quantity of left over food that looked like dust. When I started having issues with the quality of the old food I went back to the independent pet food store that had recommended the EVO originally and asked them for suggestions for a different grain free food that would not crumble into dust.  The owner of this place was well aware of the issues I was having with the EVO and gave me some small inexpensive trial bags to try with different grain free foods.  My cats liked the Wellness best.  This store is awesome they told me when I bought the trial sizes that I could return the food my cats did not like even if it was open.  This is a small business and these were cheap small portions so I did not return them.  I actually passed the left over's to a friend who was having the same issues.  When I bought my first bigger bag of Wellness Core the owner reminded me again that if my cats decided not to eat it that I could return it.  My cats have been enjoying their Wellness Core dry food for years.

I called Wellness and they are going to send me a sample of the Original Air Dried version (they don't have samples of the Indoor), so that my husband and I can see if our kitty will eat it.  I'll report back once I receive it!

An update -- we received the sample in the mail yesterday, and our kitty seems to like it! :)  Not sure why I was so worried, since she does  eat just about anything.  We plan to purchase a bag and mix it in with her current dry food (Royal Canin Urinary SO Moderate Calorie) and transition her off the Rx food.  (Dry food is about 35% of her diet right now.)

Bumping this thread and wondering if anyone else has tried this food? I saw it in store for the first time today and was intrigued. My cats are about 10 months old, so it'd still be a while before they got this but I'm looking into adult food options!
