My kitty hasn't pooped for 3 days, she pooped on Monday and it is currently Fridayou and she seems to have no interest in pooping. She eats raw so I'm not surprised she has a few days in between but normally it's just 2 and now we have 3 and I'm really scared of her getting constipated, I've spent so much money on vet bills these past few months and I there is no way I can afford going to the vet. I started giving her pumpkin last night to help soften her up. Please help!

You should at least call your vet for a consult. He may be also to recommend something over the phone. Yoi don't want this to get worse. It will also get more expensive if it gets more serious.

I agree with talking peanut.  Please at least call and talk to the vet.  This can turn into a very serious problem that could be more expensive to treat later rather than sooner.

Yes I know, I have had this problem with her before, that's why I'm so worried about it. I'm planning on calling my vet if she doesn't make progress by tonight. Lucky enough She passed 2 small pieces after I posted this.

Make sure she is getting enough water too.  Sometimes when mine don't eat a lot of wet food and eating more boiled chicken or hard food...  if they don't drink enough water they have little poops like that, hard ones.   So just make sure she is drinking enough water.  It is good to know she passed some!

She's passed a bit more this evening, Ivery been adding water to her raw food to be sure she gets plenty of water. I think since she's passed some through out the day i'LL hold out with pumpkin and water.

Update

She has now passed 4 1" long pieces throughout today. She is eating raw so small amount of poop is normal but it does seem like not very much for collecting for 3 days. I'm continuing with pumpkin and water to help her pass more.
