Sharing pictures again

Here are some pictures from out family day trip yesterday. We went up the Carmel mountain to the Carmelite monastery and then to the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Zipori. It was very interested, Zipori has some of the best preserved Roman mosaics and you can actually walk down the main street and into the villas and see the mosaic floors.

The statue of Elijah the prophet that stands by the monastery. The monastery is there as this is where Elijah supposedly went up to heaven.
