Leash?

I want to get Bast used to a leash. She is a great car cat. And I love taking her places, but she is getting to big for her carrying bag...
I tried to use it on her break away collar, but it wopuld break away lol.
I tried just holding the end and let her get used to it but the collar..

She will be 6 months on the first... did I wait to long?

Any help would be great!

No, I don't think 6 mths is too late. Slow and easy does it, though. I have both the figure 8 and H harnesses, and I prefer the H ones. Here are some of the threads I remember replying to.
