My cat is also very pregnant. And I am in the same situation as you. I had a cat a few years ago that gave birth, but I am having a hard time remembering the signs. I have no idea how far along she is, but I can see the kittens moving inside from across the room. Can you see or feel kittens moving?

You can see or feel kittens 2-3 weeks before they are due. My Cat is also pregnant and I stated feeling them the other day. She didn't start showing til she was 5 weeks.   Is it possible she got out before and you just didn't notice. @kittymamaof2

She is farther along then you think. I would look into getting her set up with some nesting boxes and make sure she doesn't get out. You don't want the babies born outside. My Lil Bit has been trying to dart out the door lately. I have to keep a close eye to  make sure she doesn't get out. She has 1 1/2 to 2 weeks left to go . I am getting so excited.

Minnie is acting a bit different today, compared to usual behavior. She hasn't eaten anything so far. She has been laying in the same spot for the last 3 hours. I don't see any discharge or anything and she's just sleeping right now. We've been able to feel the kittens move for over a week. Just realized yesterday that we could see them moving, even from across the room. She's very large at this point. We have known she's pregnant for well over a month now.

Yes, I agree that it shouldn't be much longer. She looks around 8 weeks, and if you can see kitten movement from across the room, then surely they're well developed now and space is limited in there.

Keep her confined with her things and have a nice warm nest ready to accommodate her and her babies.

Good luck!

That's probably her mucus plug and she's likely not far from delivering. Be sure to pick up supplies, like powdered kmr, a needleless syringe, and a scale now. Also agree that it's time for nests.

Please be sure to keep her completely inside until the babies are 8 weeks old and mom can be spayed. She will likely go into heat again before then, and some cats do try to nest and deliver outside.
