hi guys

I have a persion exotic male 1.5 years old and his name is baby dave.

His appeitite over the last two weeks has grounded to a holt.I have had ecg's x rays ultrasounds and had all airways checked due to his breed etc at a top cardiologist, bloods, urine.blood pressure etc and all came back negative

I can see he is trying to eat but struggling when its in his mouth, his teeth were checked whilst he was under and she said his teeth are fine..

after over two weeks and 1700 pounds we are now no nearer to finding out whats wrong?im having to resort to syringe feeding him critical care food

Anyone else experienced this as im that worried I just cant function myself :( xx

Does he vomit? Pooping and peeing?  Is he on any medication?  How was his eating habits before?  Have you tried tuna or tuna water? Baby food (1st stage only)?  have you tried boiling chicken?    His teeth may be fine but could have an ulcer or cut on his tongue/gums?

He's drinking lots of water, had loose stools but only 1 day!he's not on medication other than the appetite stimulant the vet put him on last Tuesday..He had such a healthy appetite that's how I recognised a massive change to his eating habbits ,I've tried so many brands of food, warmed it up,tried tuna etc he's not interested,he eats a few dreamies that's all [emoji]128553[/emoji]
I'm so scared as no one can tell me why xx

Poor baby.  When you syringe feed does he have trouble chewing it?  maybe his tummy is upset?  or his bowels are irritable?  One thing with my kitty when she was dehydrated she NEVER wanted to eat.  Maybe he is dehydrated?  Do you  know how to check?
